Project scope:

The scope of IMES project is in accordance with the Regional Development Plan of South Muntenia Region,Romaniaand is based on the recognition that the future of the region is dependent on social factors, economic and environmental as well as activities to be undertaken by local authorities, organizations, institutions and partnerships throughout the region.

 

Overall objective:

Increasing the intensity and developing the Romanian – Bulgarian cooperation and collaboration relations in the civil protection and defense against natural disasters 

 

Specific objectives:

  • Enhancing the efficiency of the management of emergency situations related to environmental threats in the cross border area;
  • The upgrade of the logistics system necessary for the intervention activities in case of emergency situations, in the cross border area.

Project implementation duration: 19 months (01.06.2014-31.12.2015)
